Beyoncé Wears Gold Melissa Simon-Hartman Bodysuit For RENAISSANCE’ Album

Beyoncé wears a golden bodysuit with an attached hovering halo, featuring gold shimmering discs by Melissa Simon-Hartman . Her look was styled with matching thigh-high Philipp Plein 24k gold boots along with a gold lips.

She explains “The three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative. Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgement, a place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking, a place to scream, release feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”

Beyonce Dedicated the new album to her late Uncle Jonny, who was gay, Beyoncé wrote, “A big thank you to my Uncle Jonny. He was my Godmother and the first person to expose me to a lot of the music and culture that serve as inspiration for this album. Thank you for all the pioneers who originate culture, to all of the fallen angels whose contributions have gone unrecognized for far too long. This is a celebration for you.” The star went on to thank the producers involved, her mother and father, and her fans.

Following her 2016 award-winning record Lemonade, the forthcoming album includes “act i” in the title, set to follow up with “act ii” and “act iii.”

With four unique box sets available for pre-order on Beyoncé’s official website, the package comes complete with a T-shirt, CD, a mini poster, and a 28-page photo book. The box sets begin shipping out on July 29 in concert with the album’s release.

Renaissance marks Beyoncé’s first solo album in the last six years, with 16 tracks chock full of joyful and electrifying house music, paying homage to disco and queer club culture.
