She was styled by Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful and Beyonce’s personal stylist Marni Senofonte. The hair was the work of Jawara, with makeup by Sir John and nails by Miho Okawara. For the cover, Beyoncé is wearing Alaia, with headpiece by Haris Reed and Vivienne H Lake, and earrings by Eddie Borgo. Beyonce is set to release a follow-up to her album Lemonade on July 29th titled Renaissance.

British Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful styled Beyoncé for the Vogue feature. Edward and Bey exchanged texts about mirror balls, light boxes, headdresses and yes, even a horse on the dance floor. The fantastical set they concocted demanded fashion to match. “B wanted to play with fashion like never before,” says Enninful in his July editor’s letter. Area fit perfectly into the “glittering retro-futurism” theme of the shoot.
