On Saturday, the 35-year-old track and field star Allyson Felix cemented her legendary status as she nabbed her eleventh-career medal and became the most decorated athlete in the sport’s history. Felix, who won Gold in the 4×400 relay alongside teammates Sydney McLaughlin, Dalilah Muhammad and Athing Mu, breaks a record of ten medals held by Carl Lewis up until this point. This is the last race of Felix’s storied Olympic career, which included winning at least one medal in every Games since 2004.
