Hedi Silmane presented a grunge inspired collection for Saint Laurent Fall 2013 RTW. Models rocked the runway in sequin dresses with mesh stockings, plaid flannel shirts ,cardigans,florals, and leathers, there was also a shredded jeans skirt, and the collection had a consistent theme of jackets over dresses .. This Collection can best be described as Grunge…. Seems like Silmane’s vision with this collection for Saint Laurent was to target a younger similar to Topshop and H & M audience. Not a chic a sophisticated woman that the brand is known for.
