JAY-Z’s highly anticipated return to London brought together some of the biggest names in music, film and entertainment. DJ Khaled was spotted enjoying the monumental concert alongside rapper and music executive Yo Gotti, celebrated British actor Idris Elba and entertainment mogul Tyler Perry.
The influential group attended JAY-Z’s JAY-Z 30 concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday, September 4, 2026. The special performance celebrated three decades since the release of his groundbreaking debut album, Reasonable Doubt, as well as the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint.
DJ Khaled appeared energized as he shared the moment with Yo Gotti, Elba and Perry. Khaled’s friendship and creative relationship with JAY-Z has developed over many years. The two artists collaborated on records including “I Got the Keys,” “Shining,” “Top Off” and “Sorry Not Sorry.”
The producer has also joined JAY-Z at several major cultural events. In 2022, JAY-Z attended as DJ Khaled received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Yo Gotti, who has successfully expanded his career from recording artist to record-label executive, was also among the familiar faces enjoying the London celebration. He previously attended the 2018 Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Brunch, which brought together many of the music industry’s leading artists and executives.
Tyler Perry and Idris Elba added major Hollywood power to the gathering. The two previously shared another important career moment when Elba helped celebrate Tyler Perry receiving his Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
Their appearance together in London represented several influential areas of Black entertainment and entrepreneurship. Khaled and Yo Gotti have built successful businesses beyond their music careers, Elba has established himself across film, television and dance music, and Perry has created one of the entertainment industry’s most successful independent studios.
The concert itself was filled with memorable moments. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean reunited onstage to perform the Fugees’ classic rendition of “Killing Me Softly With His Song.” JAY-Z also celebrated Beyoncé’s 45th birthday during the show, leading the stadium in singing “Happy Birthday” as fireworks illuminated the London sky.
JAY-Z’s career and cultural influence have extended far beyond his recordings. His journey was previously honored through The Book of HOV exhibition at the Brooklyn Public Library, which explored his rise from Brooklyn’s Marcy Houses to global music and business icon.
More recently, JAY-Z joined Meek Mill and Michael Rubin for a star-studded REFORM Alliance Casino Night that raised millions to support criminal justice reform.
With DJ Khaled, Yo Gotti, Idris Elba and Tyler Perry taking in the London experience together, the VIP section reflected the same themes of legacy, achievement and cultural influence being celebrated onstage.
Three decades into his career, JAY-Z remains more than one of hip-hop’s greatest artists. His ability to unite influential figures from music, fashion, film and business continues to demonstrate the worldwide reach of his legacy.
