The Boston Celtics have officially made one of the most shockinging franchise star Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for veteran forward Paul George and a valuable collection of future draft picks.
The blockbuster deal ends Brown’s 10-year run in Boston and breaks up one of the NBA’s most successful duos: Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
In return for Brown, the Celtics receive Paul George, a 2028 first-round pick, Philadelphia’s unprotected 2031 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2030 second-round pick.
For Philadelphia, the move signals an all-in push toward an NBA championship.
