Rihanna had “love on the brain” this weekend, stepping out to celebrate her hubby’s birthday.
A$AP Rocky turned 37 on Friday, Oct. 3 — and his megastar wife, 37, joined the rapper for a night out in Los Angeles to mark the occasion.
The two were seen riding a black Rolls Royce convertible around the city while heading to a private Hollywood celebration. Rocky donned a brown suit and striped tie, while Rihanna sported a black moto jacket.
This was their first outing together as a couple since they welcomed their daughter Rocki Irish Mayers, Just Jared reports. The celebrity couple announced the happy news on Sept. 24. Rocki was born on Sept. 13, according to Rihanna’s Instagram post.
The couple are also parents to sons Rza, 3, and Riot, 2. In an interview with Elle published on Sept. 23, Rocky — whose real name is Rakim Mayers — revealed that he and Rihanna had been hoping for a baby girl.
Rihanna and Rocky first met in 2012, though the pair didn’t begin dating until late 2019. They welcomed their first son in 2022, and Rihanna revealed her pregnancy with their second son while performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2023.
The Barbadian singer revealed she was pregnant with her third ahead of the Met Gala red carpet back in May. Just hours after she announced the news via social media, the “Umbrella” singer flaunted her baby bump while walking the event’s red carpet.
Last month, Rihanna also made headlines when an unlikely hit from her 2007 album Good Girl Gone Badreached the top-10 charts in the U.K. “Breakin’ Dishes” was never pushed as a single, but that hasn’t stopped fans across the pond from obsessing over it this past summer.
It’s also worthy to note that her landmark album from 2007 produced an array of other smash hits, including “Umbrella,” “Don’t Stop the Music,” “Shut Up and Drive,” “Hate That I Love You,” “Take a Bow” and, of course, “Disturbia.” So that could be the reason why “Breakin’ Dishes” was never dubbed an official single.
