Scarlett Johansson has arrived in Cannes. Fresh off her Saturday Night Live hosting gig for the show’s season 50 finale, the actor flew out to the French Riviera for the annual film festival.
Johansson walked the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals today with husband Colin Jost (a longtime SNL cast member) for the premiere of Vie Privée (A Private Life). The Fly Me to the Moon star was pure elegance in a strapless lavender gown.
The piece had a ruched bodice and a flowy skirt. Airy sashes detached from the bodice and flowed down to the floor, creating sweeping trains on each side. Johansson wore the dress only with dangly diamond earrings, her pair-shaped diamond engagement ring from Jost, and a bold red lip. Her blonde hair was up in a messy bun.
The comedian looked dapper next to her in a classic black tuxedo and bow tie. The two smiled and embraced as they posed together on the carpet.
Johansson and Jost have been married since 2020 (and dated for three years before that). They now share a three-year-old son named Cosmo. ScarJo is also mom to daughter Rose Dorothy Dauriac, 10, from her marriage to French journalist Romain Dauriac.
On SNL this past Saturday, Johansson and Jost shared a sweet moment when the comedian celebrated his wife’s hosting gig by joining her onstage once the show wrapped and presenting her with a giant bouquet of red roses before giving her a big kiss.
