Just one night after attending the Met Gala, Miley Cyrus had another fashion marathon at a New York City event for her upcoming visual album, Something Beautiful. The singer appeared in four different designer looks throughout the evening, each one styled to match the moodier, more conceptual tone of her new musical era.
To start the night, Cyrus arrived in a full Alexander McQueen ensemble, including an oversize leather biker jacket, a belted leather miniskirt, and black knee-high boots. She layered the outfit over a white tank and accessorized with black sunglasses.
For the Q&A, she changed into a leather snakeskin-print dress from Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The form-fitting sleeveless ensemble added to her rockstar aesthetic.
For her third outfit, Cyrus opted for a more tailored look. She wore a sharply cut tuxedo-style jacket and low-rise pants from Tom Ford’s fall 2025 runway. She styled them with black leather gloves and oversize sunglasses.
Finally, she posed in an embellished black sculptural jacket and matching miniskirt from Mugler’s spring 2025 collection by Casey Cadwallader. The designer has special importance to Cyrus’s project, as the star has been wearing archival Mugler pieces in Something Beautiful’s cover art, movie trailer, and music videos.
After the event, Cyrus shared photos of herself in all the night’s outfits on Instagram. “MORE TO LOSE. MAY 9TH,” she captioned the post, revealing the release date for her album’s next single. She added a note of gratitude to fans, writing, “Thank you to @spotify & my sweet smilers for your support today. Love you.”
The event was hosted by Spotify and served as an intimate introduction to Something Beautiful, which Cyrus dubbed her “gayest” album yet. During the night, she shared reflections on personal growth, including advice she’s received from her godmother Dolly Parton. “Dolly told me, ‘You do you and I’ll do me and together we’ll be us,’” Cyrus said. “And now I just say that to everybody.”
Inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall and the 2018 film Mandy, Something Beautiful is set to drop May 30, with a corresponding visual film premiering at the Tribeca Festival in June.
