Miley Cyrus has been on the fashion run of her life recently.
From walking down the streets of Paris in an all-leather outfit straight from Yves Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter 2025 runway to her show-stopping, off-duty rockstar ensembles in New York City, each appearance seems to outdo the last. And right now, no city is buzzing louder with fashion energy than the Big Apple—with the Met Gala just a day away. Naturally, Cyrus made sure her grand return was impossible to miss.
Photographed exiting her hotel, the Grammy-award winning singer wore a black leather bomber jacket with a boxy black tank underneath and light-wash jeans from MM6 Maison Margiela’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection.
She then paired her look with some tiny black sunglasses and black pumps. To the casual observer, the accessory and footwear choice might blend into the rest of her outfit, but to the eagle-eyed fashion editor (such as myself), I immediately noticed she was wearing not one, but two limited-edition rare Maison Margiela collaborations.
Her sunnies, a product of the French luxury house’s collab with Gentle Monster (which retails for $420), were a subtle reminder not to sleep on upgrading your accessory game.
As for Cyrus’ statement shoes, which were kept mostly hidden beneath her denim, the star broke out pumps from Margiela’s limited-edition collection with Christian Louboutin.
It’s a capsule all the girls are currently obsessed with, including Dua Lipa. Cyrus’ ‘Loubiella’ patent leather tabi heels, in particular, are already completely sold out online.
