On Thursday, May 15th, Dom Pérignon reimagined the traditional launch event with Creation is an Eternal Journey—a bold, one-night-only experience that transformed London’s Tate Modern into a living, breathing ode to creativity. Titled “Poem to Party,” the multisensory evening celebrated the Maison’s next artistic chapter through an immersive blend of art, gastronomy, music, and performance.
Guests were welcomed into the iconic Blavatnik Building for an intimate dinner curated by three-Michelin-starred chef Clare Smyth. Each course was thoughtfully paired with Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 – Plénitude 2, served just ahead of its official global release. The meal was designed to reflect the wine’s evolution—precise, vibrant, and expressive.
Among the evening’s honored guests were the visionaries shaping Dom Pérignon’s creative future: Zoë Kravitz, Tilda Swinton, Anderson .Paak, Iggy Pop, Alexander Ekman, Clare Smyth, and Dom Pérignon’s Chef de Cave, Vincent Chaperon. Together, they set the tone for a night steeped in imagination and transformation.
In a poignant interlude, Tilda Swinton stepped into a single spotlight to deliver Notes for Radical Living, an original poem commissioned by Dom Pérignon—a meditation on presence, metamorphosis, and the eternal nature of creation.
As the night transitioned, DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson .Paak) and Jameela Elfaki ignited the dance floor, carrying the energy into the early hours and keeping the creative pulse alive.
The evening unfolded in three artistic movements: past, present, and future—each offering a layered view into the Maison’s identity.
-
The Past celebrated Dom Pérignon’s legacy of cultural collaboration, showcasing iconic works and moments—from Andy Warhol’s pop aesthetic to Jeff Koons’ sculpture and Marilyn Monroe’s whispered tribute to the brand.
-
The Present centered around raw, intimate works from photographer Collier Schorr and filmmaker Camille Summers-Valli, capturing the essence of today’s creators and the emotional power of personal expression.
-
The Future was envisioned through a luminous, vineyard-inspired installation curated by Vincent Chaperon himself. Guests wandered through ephemeral imagery and Polaroids from the most recent harvest—a quiet reflection on the slow art of winemaking and what lies ahead, a decade from now.
Creation is an Eternal Journey signals not just a campaign, but the beginning of a long-form creative narrative—one that Dom Pérignon will continue to unfold globally throughout the year.
