If there’s one thing we can count on Prada for, it’s a fashion show that makes you feel something—and this season? We felt everything. The Prada Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection, led by the brilliant duo Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, was an emotional, cerebral journey through time, utility, romance, and imagination.
From the moment the lights hit the mirrored runway, it was clear we weren’t just at a fashion show—we were witnessing fashion theatre.
Protective. Poetic. Prada.
This collection was all about duality. Picture this: structured, military-style outerwear layered over featherlight lace skirts… or stiff quilted dresses paired with translucent blouses. Every look walked a fine line between strength and softness.
There was a feeling of romantic armor—like the clothes were made to shield the soul while still letting it breathe. It was powerful, without being loud. Feminine, without being fragile. Very Prada.
Color, Texture & The Unexpected
The color palette? Earthy with an edge. Think dusty mauve, olive green, cement gray, and pale pink—with electric hits of crimson and sunflower yellow thrown in like little rebellions.
Textures were next-level. We saw:
-
Quilted nylon coats
-
Sheer tulle skirts
-
Vinyl trenches
-
Ribbed knits with raw seams
-
And silk dresses that shimmered like water
Even the accessories had stories—like mini crossbody bags that clipped to coats, futuristic headpieces, and platform Mary Janes that looked straight out of a sci-fi romance.
The Prada Mindset
At its core, this collection wasn’t just about aesthetics. It was about ideas. About dressing for a world that’s chaotic, beautiful, and complex. About protecting yourself while still being open. About fashion that actually says something.
As Miuccia put it backstage:
“We want to explore humanity. What it means to be vulnerable. What it means to be strong.”
And honestly? That’s exactly what this collection gave us.
Final Thoughts
Prada F/W 25-26 was moody, meaningful, and masterfully done. It reminded us that clothing can be more than just clothing—it can be art, armor, and expression all at once.
This isn’t fashion for fleeting likes on social media. This is fashion you feel in your bones.
