Louis Vuitton’s Fall-Winter 2025-26 fashion show, held on March 10, 2025, at the historic Étoile du Nord station in Paris, masterfully blended the brand’s storied heritage with contemporary design. Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière transformed the station into a dynamic runway, drawing inspiration from the golden age of train travel—a fitting homage to Louis Vuitton’s origins as a luxury luggage maker.
The collection showcased an eclectic mix of styles, reflecting the diverse narratives of travelers. Models donned chic pants with jogging finishes, blanket coats, sporty jackets, bias-cut dresses layered under substantial leather coats, and worker’s shirts reimagined as jumpsuits. Classic pants featured graphic elements reminiscent of uniforms, while slip dresses added a touch of elegance.
Accessories paid tribute to the brand’s legacy, with colorful portable trunks, rolled-up plaids, artistically designed scarves, hat boxes, and modern interpretations of iconic bags like the Speedy and Keepall.
The show’s ambiance evoked cinematic and literary references to train stations, reminiscent of scenes from films such as “2046,” “Snowpiercer,” “Casablanca,” and “Murder on the Orient Express.” This setting underscored the romanticism and intrigue associated with travel, aligning seamlessly with the collection’s theme.
Notably, the event marked the runway return of Felix, the rapper and Louis Vuitton ambassador, who previously debuted at the brand’s Fall-Winter 2024 show.
Ghesquière’s innovative approach in this collection not only honored Louis Vuitton’s rich history but also reimagined it for the modern era, reaffirming the brand’s position at the forefront of luxury fashion.
