No player in Heat history deserves a statue outside the Kaseya Center in Miami more than Dwyane Wade — and Sunday night he got it.
The discussion online Sunday night after the unveiling focused on whether the likeness of Wade from sculptors Omri Amrany and Oscar León actually looked like Wade? A lot of Miami fans didn’t think so and the Heat leadership sent out word through sources that this wasn’t on them, that the statue was a collaboration of Wade and the artists and that they hadn’t seen it. Yikes.
