Quinta Brunson star of Abbott Elementary star and creator arrived at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater for the 76th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony. For the occasion, she delivered one of her most glamorous looks to date, opting for a slick midnight black gown from Georges Chakra’s Fall/Winter 2024 couture collection.
The flashy piece featured a pointed strapless neckline and two large bows adorned to the waist and at the knees. The figure-hugging piece flared out into a dramatic mermaid silhouette, with the reflective fabric pooling onto the ground around her feet.
Brunson is nominated tonight in the category of Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as teacher Janine Teagues in ABC’s Abbott Elementary. At the 2023 ceremony, Brunson won the Emmy for the same category; she also took home the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 2022.
