Tonight marks Streep’s sixth Emmy nomination. She’s won three times: for best narrator in 2017, narrating the documentary Five Came Back, for best actress in a miniseries or movie in 2004 for her performance in Angels in America, and back in 1978 for best lead actress in a limited series for her role in NBC’s miniseries Holocaust.
