The Furiosa screening marks the second day of the 77th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The event kicked off on Tuesday, May 14 and ends on May 25.
Taylor-Joy stars as the title character of Furiosa in the fifth installment of the Mad Max franchise (the role was previously played by Charlize Theron). The film tells Furiosa’s origin story and spans years.
