First Lady Jill Biden attended the coronation with her granddaughter Finnegan Biden as her husband, President Joe Biden, remained in the US.

Her husband Joe Biden is not in attendance; no sitting U.S. president has ever attended a British royal coronation. Notably, at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth in 1953, President Dwight Eisenhower also did not attend.
Dr. Biden looked lovely in a blue Ralph Lauren dress, and accessorized with Marion Parke pumps, a blue bow in her hair, and matching gloves. She walked into Westminster Abbey for the ceremony alongside her granddaughter, Finnegan. Finnegan wore a custom yellow Markarian dress.
