He looked dapper in a Giorgio Armani suit.
Jackson is no stranger to the Hollywood event. Not only was the Marvel actor nominated in 1995 for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Pulp Fiction, but he also received an Honorary Academy Award in 2022.
On being honored after 50 years in the industry, Jackson noted in his acceptance speech, “Thank you Governors for this incredible honor. Who knew a little kid from Chattanooga, Tennessee watching movies, wishing he could be here and get the votes of people who run an organization like this [could say], ‘Hey, I deserve something like this.’ Thank you so very much.”
He continued, “When I got this call last year, it was totally unexpected, but I guarantee you, this thing is going to be cherished.”
