Brendan Fraser, winner of the Best Actor in a Leading Role award for “The … Giorgio Armani tuxedo during the 95th Annual Academy Awards.
He won the Best Actor with his role in The Whale – – a psychological drama in which he played the role of Charlie, a reclusive and unhealthy English teacher.
“So this is what the multiverse looks like? I thank the Academy for this honor and for studio A24 for making such a bold film, and I’m grateful to Darren Aronofsky for throwing me a creative lifeline and having me aboard the good ship, The Whale. It was written by Samuel D. Hunter,” he said.
“I started this business 30 years ago, and things didn’t come easy to me. There was a facility that I didn’t appreciate at the time. And I just want to say thank you for this acknowledgement, it couldn’t be done without my cast. It’s been like a bit of a diving expedition in the ocean and the air to line to the surface as I am being watched over by some people in my life,” he added.”’
