GUCCI presented their latest Hortus Deliciarum High Jewelry collection with a campaign starring Oscar-winning actress and film producer Jessica Chastain . The campaign was lensed by duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott with art direction by Ezra Petronio. The collection named Hortus Deliciarum (Garden of Delights) was designed by the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michele, and it combines Italian craftsmanship with Gucci‘s romantic spirit. The collection is an ode to specific historical and architectural eras suspended in time and space.
“Made of unique pieces divided into five themes, the new collection is a creative ode to specific historical and architectural eras suspended in time and space. The journey, inspired by the Grand Tour, reveals romantic, maximalist jewels made with mastery. Like a passionate collector, Alessandro Michele writes an allegory that holds within dreams, experiences, stories, and secrets showcased as five chapters of a travel diary in the shape of ‘souvenirs in the form of a jewel’.” – form Gucci
