A spokesman for Harry and Meghan confirmed their visit and said that they had stopped off in the UK on their way to The Hague in the Netherlands to attend the Invictus games
They visited the Queen’s official residence for a meeting with the 95-year-old monarch and Prince Charles, who was there with Camilla.
It is the first time Meghan has visited the UK for two years after she and Prince Harry quit as working royals
