New photographs have been released of the Duchess Of Cambridge, celebrating her 40th birthday on Sunday.
Kensington Palace has released three new striking photographic portraits of The Duchess of Cambridge, ahead of her 40th birthday tomorrow.The portraits, which were taken in Kew Gardens in west London last November by Paolo Roversi, will eventually become part of the permanent collection at the National Portrait Gallery once it reopens. The Duchess & Paolo drew inspiration from 19th century photography, which was the focus of Kate’s undergraduate thesis.
Sarah Burton, of Alexander McQueen, designed these outfits especially for The Duchess of Cambridge. Paolo Roversi world renowned photographer shot them with inspiration from Victorian imagery.Â
Delighted to share a new portrait of The Duchess ahead of her 40th birthday tomorrow.
This is one of three new portraits which will enter the permanent collection of the @NPGLondon, of which The Duchess is Patron.
