Hiphop star Nelly made his debut on Dancing With the Stars during the season’s premiere last night (September 14). Nelly’s first dance on “DWTS” was a salsa done to his throwback song, “Ride Wit Me” and included a backflip.
– “Dancing with the Stars” is back and better than ever with a new, well-known and energetic cast of 15 celebrities who are ready to add some glitzy bling to their wardrobe and break in their dancing shoes. The competition begins with a two-hour season premiere, live, MONDAY, SEPT. 14 (8:00-10:03 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

Taking to the floor with professional dance partner, Daniella Karagach, the rapper kicked off the show’s return with a salsa dance number to one of his biggest hits, “Ride With Me.” The highlight came when Nelly pulled off a backflip to cap off the dance. DWTS host and executive producer Tyra Banks called the performance “sexy magic.”
