2020 has already been a major year for Minaj. Along with announcing her first pregnancy with husband Kenneth Petty last week, the superstar has managed to finally notch not one but two No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 thanks to her recent collaborations with Doja Cat (the “Say So” remix) and Tekashi 6ix9ine (“Trollz”).
Nicki Minaj confirmed that she is releasing a collaboration with A$AP Ferg.
Titled “Move Ya Hips,” conversation around the single was first brought up on social media by none other than A$AP Rocky. “SUMBODY TELL @ASAPferg 2 DROP DAT SHIT WIT HIM N NICKI ASAP,” the rapper tweeted in all caps on Sunday (July 26), leading Minaj to reply, “Flacko, I heard it was coming Thursday but I could be wrong.” (Ten minutes later, Ferg confirmed the track’s July 30 release date as well, declaring, “The Queen is never wrong.”)
