Body Recovered During Search For Naya Rivera @ Lake Piru

Breaking: Searchers have found a body in Lake Piru, five days after actress Naya Rivera disappeared during a boat outing with her young son, authorities said . A body was recovered at Lake Piru in Southern California, the site where ‘Glee’ actress Naya Rivera went missing last Wednesday while boating with her 4-year-old son.

A source familiar with the search said that a photo Rivera sent from the lake to a relative of her son in front of a cove before she disappeared allowed divers to work a grid near the location.

Divers located a body Monday morning and will verify the identity of the remains. Ventura County medical examiners will determine the cause of death.
