Natalie Massenet was named as a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire by The Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace 19th February, 2016.
Dame Natalie was granted the award, for services to the fashion and retail industries, in the New Year’s Honours last month.
To accept this prestigious honour, Natalie wore couture; a scarlet red wool crêpe peplum tailleur by British luxury brand, Ralph & Russo.
“Natalie is one of the most successful and respected entrepreneurs of our generation and has contributed in such a huge way to the British Fashion Industry; not only elevating the profile of London Fashion Week and its designers but also nurturing and championing new talent. We are beyond thrilled and honoured to have worked with Natalie on this momentous occasion.”
“Ralph & Russo is a brilliant British success story, they are the first brand in almost a century to show during Paris Haute Couture Week, presenting their fifth collection in January this year. Working with them has been an amazing experience, they are a brilliant example of excellence and creativity. Their atelier in London is a hive of activity with over 120 craftsmen; all experts in their specific field.”
