The Givenchy Ready To Wear Spring 2016 Collection was held in New York on 9/11 at the West Side Highway and flooded onto Pier 26
Mariacarla Boscono opened the show wearing a a white lace camisole top paired with loose trousers. The Collection had a color palette of white, black and ivory.
Models rocked designs featuring black sheer, lace , draped romantic designs . There were tuxedo-style jackets with tails styled with silk blouses. Tailored black pants, along with kimono coats and slip dresses.
One of my favorite models, Lineisy Montero, donned the first all-black look that looked like it was ready for the bedroom or perhaps the boardroom if styled with the appropriate blazer.
The show also showcased Givenchy’s men’s ready-to-wear with new Givenchy Denim designs and haute couture pieces inspired by Tisci past designs.
