Rihanna signs deal as the new Creative director and Brand Ambassador of the German sportswear label Puma. The popstar has signed a multi-year contract where she will also be the Brand Ambassador in its Fall 2015 ad campaign for the brand. Riri , shared images of herself rocking a pair of Puma “Basket” style sneakers that has a custom creeper sole on her official Instagram page.
WWD confirms the news. Rihanna will oversee and guide the designs of clothing and apparel in Puma’s fitness and training line.
Puma’s CEO Bjørn Gulden said: “Signing Rihanna is a fantastic step for Puma. Her global profile, her charisma and individuality, her ambition – all these things make her a perfect ambassador for our brand. We’re delighted to have her as a partner, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come.”
Rihanna has also been named a Global Brand Ambassador, a titled shared by Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt and football star Mario Balotelli; she’s also to appear on the Puma’s ad campaign for fall 2015.
